Certification Europe would like to congratulate Version 1 on their certification to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011.

Version 1 are a managed services and IT consulting company, with offices in Dublin, Belfast and Cork. They have been operating a managed services practice since 2000 and are growing rapidly. Version 1 now employ more than 280 staff across all thier sites and certification to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 is one of many recent achievements. Version 1 was named 'Company Of The Year' at the 2011 ICT Excellence Awards as well as awarded the 2011 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year.

Catherine Hughes, Version 1's Head of Managed Services, said "This certification is industry recognition of the maturity of our managed services. ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 requires hard evidence that our managed service practice is complying with every part of the standard and that we are committed to continually improving the service we provide our customers."

The standard provides for an integrated process approach for the delivery of IT services and defines what best practice is for IT service management.
