Certification Europe awards McAree Engineering Ltd. with ISO 9001 certification
Certification Europe was delighted to award McAree Engineering Ltd. with ISO certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001), at a presentation in the company’s sheet-metal manufacturing plant in Co. Monaghan, today. The globally recognised ISO 9001 standard aided the company in identifying internal and external process changes which strengthened the manufacturing plants Quality Managements Systems processes framework.
Speaking at the presentation Peter Richardson, Sales and Marketing Manager of McAree Engineering Ltd. commented that:
“Our mission is to provide the highest standards in product manufacturing, while sustaining our quality standards for our clients and their customers. In 2011 we invested €2 million in a companywide training programme and plant upgrades. However, in order to fully capitalise on this investment we acknowledged that as a company we needed to improve our workflow and quality processes. Hence, with an increasingly sophisticated customer base and growing customer demands around quality and traceability, it was a clear-cut decision to pursue ISO 9001 certification via Certification Europe for our Quality Management System.”
McAree Engineering Ltd. is a well-established family run manufacturing company which was founded in 1947 at Ballinode, County Monaghan. The company is involved in the design and production of a wide range of bulk storage and agricultural food storage product which are distributed throughout Europe.
In 2011 the manufacturing company undertook ISO 9001 certification and today marked the final steps in the process as they received their quality management certification from Ciarán O’Malley, Business Development Manager for Certification Europe:
