We are proud to acknowledge that our ISO50001 Energy Management Systems client, Tyndall National Institute University College Cork, has been awarded the Outstanding Leadership Energy Management Award at the Sustainable Energy Awards 2012 ceremony. The annual Sustainable Energy Awards are organised by SEAI, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and they are are intended to encourage, recognise and reward excellence in energy management in the industrial, commercial, community and public sectors.

‘‘Tyndall has developed and implemented effective energy management processes which have achieved substantial reduction in their energy footprint at the same time as the energy intensity of the building has significantly increased.  This equates to a 49% reduction in energy consumption" was SEAI judges' motivation. We would like to congratulate the Tyndall Institute for their achievement, which brightly reflects their commitment to ISO50001 internationally recognised best practices.
