ISO 27001:2013

ISO 27001:2013 is the latest update to the international best practise information security standard and this version of the standard has superseded all previous editions. In an ever changing digital world it pays to keep up with threats and developments in the information security arena.

Join us as we explain the developments within the standard, the differences between 2005 and 2013, and we will help you decided if your ISO 27001 Information Security system is ready to be audited against ISO 27001:2013.

Certification Europe have put together an exclusive set of tools, completely free of charge, designed specifically to allow users to understand the changes from ISO 27001:2005 to ISO 27001:2013.

In this FREE tool kit there is;

  • The "Review of Annex A, ISO 27001:2013 & Mapping to ISO 27001:2005"
  • The "Table of Clauses removed from Annex A"
  • The "Check list for Self-Assessment of Additional Requirements in ISO 27001:2013"

Each of these documents is designed to be used by data security professionals to allow them and their organisations to transition from the 2005 version of the standard to ISO 27001:2013 as easily and as efficiently as possible.

The review of Annex A explains how each of the clauses in 2013 relates to its counterpart in 2005, details the differences in plain language and offers an insight into the causes of the change.

The second document is a table of clauses removed from Annex A, the section for controls within the standard. This document details why they have been removed, edited or amended.

Finally the check list aims to give the information security personnel a quick and easy guide that will allow them to asses their Information Security management system's readiness against ISO 27001:2103.
