Certification Europe leads the way in ISO 50001 Training with Energy Student Bursary Scheme
Certification Europe has launched its ISO 50001 Energy Management Training Courses for autumn and winter 2013, with a new Bursary Scheme for third level and post graduate energy students.
Certification Europe has pledged to give away one training place worth €700 for each ISO 50001 Implementation Course that they run in 2013. The first qualifying training session is due to run on the 22nd and 23rd of October.
ISO 50001 is the international best practise for energy management that has helped organisations worldwide save millions from their energy bills as well as reduces the amount of CO2 released into the environment.
In Ireland alone it is estimated that energy management programs have saved over €155 Million since 2005, with Certification Europe certifying the majority of ISO 50001 systems in the country.
ISO 50001 Implementation Course provides attendees with an understanding of international best practise in energy management as well as the competency to create an energy management system in any organisation.
Dr John Ryan, Certification Europe’s Director of Services and ISO 50001 Lead Tutor spoke enthusiastically about this innovative student training scheme:
“It is proven that an ISO 50001 Energy Management System can give businesses a keen competitive advantage, helping them meet their environmental commitments or helping them to reduce costs.
We believe that it is also our responsibility to help future energy management professionals equip themselves with the expertise to implement energy management systems to allow businesses or organisations reduce their energy usage.
It is only this kind of training and education that will help Ireland reach its international energy targets as well as improve our knowledge economy.”
A recent survey showed that over 72% of course attendees feel that this training will help them in their career and Certification Europe’s ISO 50001 Training Courses are recognised by Engineers Ireland as part of its Continuous Professional Development program (CPD).
